A gripping frontline dive into the lives of land defenders urgently blockading logging roads on Vancouver Island, Canada, in a do-or-die attempt to stop old-growth logging in Ada’itsx (Fairy Creek). When forestry workers oppose blockaders and police begin arresting protestors, tensions rise on this record-breaking climate frontline.

Nyousha Nakhjiri (26) trains to become the first Iranian born female boxer to compete in the Olympics through the Canadian National Team.  At its core, this sports documentary highlights Nyousha’s mental health as she battles with ADHD and Anxiety disorder, while tapping into her heritage as an Iranian woman, who aims to gain an international platform in order to amplify the voice of the young women and girls fighting for their basic human rights in Iran.

Light Through the Blindfold

Short Documentary (20min), 2025

Light Through the Blindfold follows visually impaired Iranian refugee and Canada’snational team goalball player, Maryam Salehizadeh, on her way to compete in the 2024Paralympic games in Paris. When Maryam learns about the opportunity to regain hereye-sight through stem-cell surgery, she is faced with a life changing decision: climb theheights of championship with team Canada, or to give up her identity, income and statusas a disabled athlete and become an ordinary person in a new world yet unknown toher.

An ancient Persian poem becomes the inspiration for a community on a path of personal growth, healing, and better relationship to the earth. A collection of cinematic portraits, ABUNDANCE vignettes the people living at Abundance Community Farm near Vancouver, BC, and their unique gifts they bring to their community, through exploring the archetypes each represent.

Episodic Dark Comedy mini series 6x45m

After losing everything in the 2008 market crash, a desperate immigrant hatches a risky plan to steal from his employer – a big box electronics retailer – unwittingly becoming the centre of a region-wide investigation by the Theft Prevention Team(™). Based on a true story, NO RETURN POLICY is a blue collar heist set against the 2008 Financial Crisis, where our heroes struggle to live the suburban dream while being hunted by a pure agent of the system.

Short Drama 

Naaji (8) an Afghan refugee boy hides with his mother inside a water tanker trying to cross a border, but they get caught by the border patrol. When he is pulled out of the tanker, it will be revealed that he is nowhere near a border... in fact a worker pulls him out of a stationary water tank at a construction site in Vancouver BC.  Naaji has been repeatedly going into the tanker in an effort to reconnect with his lost mother.
